4JET spins off micromachining business

Setting course for focused future growth after another year of record sales in 2015, German laser system integrator 4JET Technologies GmbH has transferred its micromachining business to a independent entity – 4JET microtech GmbH & Co. KG .

4JET introduces PearlCutTM

German laser system integrator 4JET Technologies GmbH has developed a new process solution for precision cutting of glass. The process uses ultrafast laser pulses and a unique beam shaping solution for a controlled crack propagation in brittle materials.

4JET at Glasstec 2014

The company offers laser systems for mass production. Featured applications include hole drilling in window, solar and display glass. 4JET will also inform about its novel process for separation of glass by controlled crack propagation as well as solutions for patterning of thin-films on glass substrates.

4JET launches New Products at C-Touch Shenzhen

4JET Technologies GmbH (Alsdorf, Germany) introduces two new laser systems for processing touch panel displays at C-Touch Shenzhen, Chinas leading industry event for touch sensitive displays.

Laser Processing for Customized OLEDs

4JET Technologies GmbH introduces a new laser process for customization and optimizing of organic LEDs at LOPE-C 2013. The new technology is a joint development with NOVALED AG (Dresden).

Dr. Uwe Stute joins 4JET Technologies GmbH

4JET Technologies GmbH (Alsdorf, Germany) strengthens its activities in laser processing of glass. Dr. Uwe Stute will be responsible for the newly created business unit „Glass + New Materials”.

Cost reduction through ultrasound contacting

International competition and the massive drop in prices of thin film solar cells forces manufacturers to further reduce their production cost. Ultrasound contacting has a high potential to save production costs.

4JET presents Laser Solutions for Drilling and Cutting of Glass

4JET Technologies GmbH (Alsdorf, Germany) is now also supplying to manufacturers of display glass for mobile electronics. At Glasstec 2012 in Dusseldorf the company will present two machine platforms for processing full size mother sheets or smaller work pieces such as already individualized cover glasses.
