German laser system integrator 4JET Technologies GmbH has developed a new process solution for precision cutting of glass. The process uses ultrafast laser pulses and a unique beam shaping solution for a controlled crack propagation in brittle materials.
The company offers laser systems for mass production. Featured applications include hole drilling in window, solar and display glass. 4JET will also inform about its novel process for separation of glass by controlled crack propagation as well as solutions for patterning of thin-films on glass substrates.
