Six years after the inception of its dedicated JobShop site in Prutting near Rosenheim, 4JET has carved out the activity. JobShop and contract manufacturing services in the fields of laser cleaning and glass cutting have been taken over by the newly formed microfab GmbH. The company was founded by members of the existing management team in Prutting and will operate independently of 4JET.
4JET has decided to discontinue its own JobShop operations as the overall growth of the group requires a streamlined portfolio and a more focused management of operating sites. All customer commitments and the JobShop capabilities previously offered by 4JET and by the recently acquired Corning Laser Technologies GmbH will now be handled by microfab GmbH, which will continue to operate at the Prutting site.
