4JET Receives Continental Supplier Award 2026
For the first time, 4JET Group GmbH has been honored with the Continental Supplier Award. During the Continental Tires Supplier Event 2026, Stefan Irrgang and Jenaran Inthirabalan accepted the award on behalf of the 4JET Group in the category “Sustainability.”
Each year, Continental AG recognizes its top suppliers as “Supplier of the Year” in the categories Innovation, Partnership, Quality, Agility, Strong Execution, and Sustainability. The Sustainability category highlights technologies that reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency, with a particular focus on solutions that enable cleaner, safer, or more ergonomic production environments.
By leveraging laser technology, we support more sustainable production processes in tire manufacturing – for example, through our Laser Uniformity Correction System (LUC). Using precise laser ablation on the bead seat, LUC improves tire uniformity. The fully automated process completely replaces manual finishing and enables the quality of the tires to be improved even to OEM standards. It also operates with minimal consumables and ensures a safe and clean production environment.
